Comprehensive Solutions in Pre-clinical Research
ImmunoSite Technologies, LLC (IST) was formed in 2009 and the genesis of the company was ten years earlier when Beckman Coulter Corporation (BEC) formed a new Custom Biopharma Solutions (CBS) department to address specific needs of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in preclinical and clinical trials. Led by Wade Bolton, Ph.D., CBS brought together a specially selected group of scientists,
physicians, engineers, clinical laboratory technicians and quality professionals. Their goal was to implement in immune monitoring and surveillance, flow cytometry, application development, automation, particle characterization, assay development and testing for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
Over their 11 years together, this focused group, now IST’s management team, became a dynamic and highly productive unit with a combined 110 years of rigorous preclinical and clinical product development experience. They have published over 300 peer-reviewed scientific publications, authored over 30 U.S. and international patents, and have developed and successfully commercialized over 200 diagnostic (IVD) product reagents, kits and instrument systems.
